A clear ""kli-kli-kli"" from the air is the call of the Common Kestrel in flight. This formidable little raptor hovers high in the sky, frantically beating its pointed wings and observing the ground. As soon as a vole appears, the kestrel swoops down on it. Rodents are its favorite prey, though it also eats grasshoppers and various other insects. It is a very useful bird.
A "gueguegueg" is the call of the Montagu's Harrier. With a wingspan of just over a meter, a white belly, and black wingtips, this bird has a distinctive "cranked" flight. It hunts just a few meters above the ground, often at dusk. Its daily diet consists of small mammals, eggs, other birds, and large insects. It rests on the ground and never roosts in trees.

Du calvaire central, monter jusqu'à la poste. Devant prendre à droite. Sur la placette du lavoir, se faufiler dans la ruelle à gauche. Traverser le carrefour, 20 m après, monter la première ruelle à droite. Longer l'église par le bas. Descendre le premier sentier à gauche d'une habitation. En bas, virer à droite à l'angle d'une croix.

Sur la route, choisir à gauche. Traverser direction ''relais du Mont Barre''. À la patte d'oie, monter à droite. 50m après, continuer tout droit. Au col, partir à droite direction la ''table de lecture du Mont Barre''. Du mont Barre, revenir au col. Monter en face vers le mont Gos.

Au relais et à la croix, descendre à droite direction Gos. Sur le chemin, bifurquer à gauche.

Au croisement de la carrière, tourner à gauche. À la patte d'oie et sur la route, prendre à gauche.

Visiter Gos. Revenir sur ses pas jusqu'à la carrière.Au point 4, prendre à gauche. Laisser le chemin de gauche.

À l'intersection avec le chemin aller de la montée, descendre en épingle à gauche. Rejoindre la route, puis le calvaire de Barre par le parcours aller.
